Dr. Carmen Czachor:    
      Dr. Czachor grew up in Rochester Minnesota and Green Bay Wisconsin (Go Packers!).  She graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with an undergraduate degree in Biology in 1986 and from the University of Minnesota St Paul in 1995 with her DVM.  She is married to the infamous Andrew May of Port Angeles and they have two sons, Spencer and Jackson.  
      Dr Czachor and her family have two dogs- a great dane, Zoey and a northwest Farm Terrier, Buckshot, three cats- a one eyed rescue named OD ("right eye" in vet terms), Bo a big long haired tuxedo, and Ginger, a stray flame point siamese cross.  They also have a very friendly rabbit named Humboldt and Victoria -a lion's mane rabbit.     
       Dr. Czachor's special interests lie in internal medicine, dermatology, radiology and now, with the addition of the ultrasound- non-invasive diagnostics of abdominal problems.
     Washington State's governor recently honored Dr Czachor by appointing her to the Veterinary Board of Governors.  The Board serves the governor in evaluating and formulating laws and rules that pertain to the veterinary profession and as a disciplinary committee that reviews complaints against veterinary professionals.
