Dr. Carmen Czachor, Veterinarian

Dr. Carmen Czachor, owner, and veterinarian of Family Veterinary Clinic moved to Port Angeles in 1995 after graduating from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a Bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth too. She loves being a veterinarian and her special interests are dermatology, internal medicine (especially endocrinology), behavior, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Czachor has served on and been president of the veterinary board of governors for Washington State and is a representative for the western US to the Evidence-Based Veterinary Medicine Association. She believes science-based veterinary medicine is an important concept and strives to follow the evidence for choices in veterinary care.

She has two sons, Spencer, who is an airman in the Air Force, and Jackson who lives in Port Angeles. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her dogs wrestle, oil painting, quilting, and reading. Dr. Czachor loves to travel and has been to quite a few countries. She has two dogs, a French bulldog named Peach and a standard poodle/golden cross named Trudy, and an orange tabby named Marco.


Daya Woodyard, Veterinary Assistant and Playcare Attendant

Daya has been working here since 2020. She’s extremely passionate about the medical field and has a big love for all animals. The cat in the photo is her little unit of measure and she also has an Australian shepherd mix named Chip at home as well as two other cats named Tom and Morning.


Anna Hull, Veterinary Assistant and Playcare Attendant

Anna is 17 years old and has been working at the clinic since fall of 2020. She loves getting to care for the animals and working in a clinic atmosphere. Anna is currently working on her AA degree as a running start student at Peninsula College and hopes to go into the medical field. Some hobbies include playing guitar, coaching basketball and cooking.


Terri Hull, Receptionist

Terri is from Keyser, WV and has lived in North Myrtle Beach, SC and Tucson AZ where she previously worked as a receptionist at Veterinary Clinics. She is married to David, they have four children and three grandchildren. Terri has a Great Dane named Jenny and a Northwest Farm Terrier named Moose. Most of Terri’s time is dedicated to her youngest son who plays travel baseball.

Terri’s youngest daughter Anna is the play-care attendant.


Haley Kirkman

Haley’s been working at the clinic for three years. She started out as a kennel technician and worked her way up to being a veterinary assistant. Haley’s currently enrolled in online coursework to become a licensed technician. In the future she wants to branch out to wildlife rehabilitation. In her free time she enjoys spending time outside with her boyfriend, Rylee and their dog, Charlie.



Chelsea, Veterinary Assistant

My name is Chelsea and I am 19 years old. I have lived in the Sequim area my entire life. I have always had a passion for helping animals so my goal is to start schooling to become a Veterinary Technician in the near future. In my free time, I like to watch sunsets, drive around listening to music and play with my cats I have two kitties, Chloe, a brown tabby and Gracie, a black kitty.



Alie, Veterinary Assistant

Alie and her canine companion Tommy have lived in the beautiful Pacific Northwest since 2018. After earning a degree in Sustainable Agriculture and subsequently working at a small goat dairy, she found her true passion was veterinary medicine. She is currently working on pre-veterinary coursework in hopes of one day earn her DVM. Alie is excited to learn as much as possible and loves taking care of animals of all sizes. When she isn’t on a farm or at the clinic she can be found hiking or snowboarding.
