Dr. Carmen Czachor, Veterinarian
Family Veterinary Clinic’s Dr Carmen Czachor Dr. Czachor grew up in Rochester Minnesota and Green Bay Wisconsin (Go Packers!). She graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with an undergraduate degree in Biology in 1986 and from the University of Minnesota St Paul in 1995 with her DVM. She has two sons, Spencer and Jackson. Spencer graduated in 2014 from Port Angeles High School and is an airman in the United States Airforce. Jackson is a senior at Port Angeles High School. He loves to make videos and play soccer (not at the same time!)
Dr Czachor has one dog, a great dane named Havok.
Dr. Czachor’s special interests lie in internal medicine, dermatology, radiology and now, with the addition of the ultrasound- non-invasive diagnostics of abdominal problems.
Dr Czachor was a member of the Washington State Veterinary Board of Governors and served as its chair. She is also the Western US representative for the Evidence Based Veterinary Medicine Association.
Dr Czachor’s hobbies include travel and oil painting and quilting. She just planted her first vegetable garden this spring!
Terri DeBray, Head Receptionist
Born in Seattle,Washington, raised in Port Angeles. Joined Family Veterinary Clinic in 2006. Enjoy greeting and chatting with our wonderful clients and their friendly pets. I have been married 29 years and have two grown children and two amazing grandboys who keep me very busy and entertained. My furry family consists of a 6 month wild Min-Pin mix, a cranky 10 yr old Chihuahua and 11 yr old and 12 yr old Husky/labs. I enjoy camping, sprint boat racing and anything to do with the outdoors and family.
Patty Aughtry, Receptionist
Patty Aughtry started with us in August 2017. She moved here with her husband Mickey and Ginger their dog. Patty moved here in December 2016 after the arrival of their granddaughter Maddie. They relocated from Arkansas, but Patty is from Houston Texas and her husband is from Atlanta Georgia. Patty enjoys spending time with her granddaughter when she is not working with us.
Cassie Alderson, Veterinary Assistant
Cassie Alderson was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky and grew up in Port Angeles. She graduated from Port Angeles High School in 2010. She is currently going to school to get her Veterinary Technician degree. Her fur babies include a 10 year old Corgi mix, Roscoe, a 2 year old cat, Isky and a 5 year old Shepherd mix, Gus. She enjoys hiking, card making and riding her dirt bike.
Darian Rentas, Veterinary Assistant
Darian was born and raised in Port Angeles, WA. After high school, she attended Montana State University for 2 years, then Washington State University for 2 1/2 years. She graduated in December of 2014 with a BS in Animal Sciences. Darian has a female blue heeler named Bailee, and a male black lab named Bentley. She also has quarter horses and has been active in the horse community since she was young. Her hobbies include horseback riding, hiking, going to the lake, and spending time with family and friends.
