Dr. Carmen Czachor, Veterinarian
Dr. Carmen Czachor, owner, and veterinarian of Family Veterinary Clinic moved to Port Angeles in 1995 after graduating from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a Bachelor’s degree in biology from University of Minnesota Duluth too. She loves being a veterinarian and her special interests are dermatology, internal medicine (especially endocrinology), behavior and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Czachor has served on the veterinary board of governors for Washington State and as a representative for the western US to the Evidence-Based Veterinary Medicine Association. She believes science-based veterinary medicine is an important concept and strives to follow the evidence for choices in veterinary care.
She has two sons, Spencer, who is an airman in the Air Force and Jackson who lives in Port Angeles and works at the carwash. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her dogs wrestle, oil painting, quilting, and reading. Dr. Czachor loves to travel and has been to quite a few countries. She has two dogs, a French bulldog named Peach and a standard poodle/golden cross named Trudy.
Terri DeBray, Receptionist
Born in Seattle, Washington, raised in Port Angeles. Joined Family Veterinary Clinic in 2006. Enjoy greeting and chatting with our wonderful clients and their friendly pets. Married for 32 years and has two grown children and two amazing grandboys who keep her very busy and entertained. Terri’s furry family consists of a 3yr old wild Min-Pin mix, a cranky 12 yr old Chihuahua. Loves camping, sprint boat racing and anything to do with the outdoors and family.
Jessica Finley, Kennel Technician
Jessica is 19 years old and has been working for Family Veterinary Clinic for over 2 years now. Her passion has always been caring for animals. She hopes to continue working with animals and soon to start going to school to become a veterinary technician. She was born and raised in Port Angeles. Her hobbies include riding horses, wakeboarding, and going on adventures. She is accompanied by her sweet fur babies- Odie a Dachshund-Chihuahua mix, Gracie a Chihuahua Yorkie mix, four cats Angel, Oscar, JoJo and Lucky. And her sweet draft horse Godiva.
Kristine Hanson, Kennel Technician
Kristine has been working at Family Veterinary Clinic since 2016. She decided to work for a vet clinic because she loves animals. She is in school right now to be a licensed vet technician. She loves coming to work and helping sick animals get better. In her free time, she rides horses as well as competes with her horse in gaming and performance shows. She also has a 7-year-old standard poodle named Lilly.
Haley Kirkman, Kennel Technician
Haley has lived on the Olympic Peninsula for all of her life. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and cuddling up on the couch with her critters. It includes Sophie, an elderly Chihuahua, Bubba, an 8-year-old beagle mix and Pinky, a 9-year-old sassy cat.
Olivia Washburn, Receptionist/ Veterinary Assistant
Olivia was born and raised in Port Angeles. She graduated from Port Angeles High School in 2016 and continued her education at Peninsula College where she obtained her AA degree. Olivia joined the Family Vet team a little over a year ago and loves coming to work every day to care for animals and learn about veterinary medicine. When she is not working, Olivia enjoys camping, hiking and spending time with friends and family. Her furry family consists of one energetic and happy 2-year-old pitbull named Ada.
